PIPING – WASTEWATER TREATMENT
This project consisted of the layout, fabrication and installation of 36” carbon steel, segmented elbows and piping.
- The project included the removal of the existing degraded piping and concrete prep. The layout was an important part of the project due to the limited work area and access.
- After detailing and submittals, the fabrication was performed in our shop, where we were able to meet the QC needed for compliance.
- The fabrication included detailed anchoring using a support that was incorporated into the fab and with each of the fabrications having different dimensions, it was crucial that it was completed correctly the first time.
With crane work involved, the need for a detailed pick plan for safe installation was an instrumental part of the project. Our highly trained and knowledgeable staff of pipefitters safely installed all of the fabrications in just two days.
